I created a burning haibun and a villanelle for National Poetry Day on 7 October, forms prompted by The Mum Poem Press.
Published Illustrations
I have illustrations published in The Mum Poem Press zine Why Mums Are Amazing and two in the Dear 2021 Project zine by Write Sparks. My poem for the project is on show online!!
Jemma Chawla, @new_stanza, asked me to illustrate a poem in her gorgeous debut self-published poetry collection titled, No Walk In The Park - Stumbling Through Motherhood. I was thrilled as she is such a talented and emotive poet who speaks from her heart including all ups and downs!
Cover Design for Poetry Collection
Madhushala Senaratne wove a lovely poetry collection together titled Mother Self and I was the lucky one to include eight illustrations within, bringing her words to life. I also created this eye catching cover inspired by her words: your sun-face carving a path through the waves, we build our lighthouse.
